What is ParentPowered?
Parenting shifts and changes with each year. It can feel like a lot. ParentPowered gives you tips and activities to support your child’s learning and growth at every age from birth all the way through 8th grade.
We help you navigate school, support learning and wellbeing, and understand your child’s development. We do all that in just three quick text messages a week. Our tips are built around everyday routines. No supplies needed, just the people, places, and things around you!

Why am I receiving these messages?
ParentPowered reaches families in partnership with school districts, Head Start programs, and community-based organizations. Your school or organization uses ParentPowered to make it as easy as possible for you to support your child's learning and growth.
How much does the program cost?
There is absolutely no cost to you as a parent or caregiver, but data and message rates may apply.
Which ages does the program support?
ParentPowered is for parents and caregivers of children birth through 8th grade. Starting in the 2024-2025 school year, we will also support families of high school students. You can receive texts for up to three children.
What topics does the program cover?
ParentPowered programs grow right alongside your child with content that is based on their age and stage of development. Our goal is to provide fun and doable activities that support your child developmentally, academically, and socially. Some of the topics we cover include: language, writing, literacy, math, science, problem-solving, executive function skills, positive sense of self, friendship skills, and independence.
Can I customize the messages I receive?
To change the language or age of your messages, or to add another child, just text HELP to 70138. You can always adapt the tips we send to fit your family. You know your child best!
What if I want to stop receiving texts?
You can choose to stop receiving the texts at any time by texting STOP to 70138. If you change your mind, just text START to 70138.
